Python Job: Jr Software Developer

Jr Software Developer – Ireland

We are in search of a motivated Software Developer to join our integrations team in Ireland.

What you will do:

• 
  Collaborate on the design, implementation, and deployment of customized billing and SMS solutions; configure and customize the backend services based on internal and external requirements
• Write unit-tests, perform pre and post-launch testing, and resolve issues to maintain a high quality coding standard
• Improve, maintain, monitor and provide visibility on our integrated solutions.

• Continuously look for ways to automate processes, and improve internal and external tools at airG
• Support technical sales team in review of partner requirements and data analysis

Who you are:

• 
  2+ years experience in software development
• Bachelor/Diploma level education in computing science/engineering or an equivalent program
• Experience with scripting language and knowledge in Python / Perl, Javascript
• Experience with databases (relational / non-relational databases)
• Ability to produce high quality solutions and be an active problem solver
• Strong communication, sound decision making and time management skills
• Experience in mobile web and/or mobile application development is great, but not required
• Experience in SMS development (SMPP protocol and SMSC) is great, but not required
• Front-end development skills (CSS, HTML, JavaScript/JQuery) is great, but not required
